7 Steps to a better LinkedIn Profile
If you are in job search mode and want your profile to be noticed by potential employers and recruiters then now is the time to ensure your profile is the best it can be.
Here are some easy steps you can take:
1. Have a good photo - this does not have to be professional - but it is the first impression a potential employer or recruiter will have of you.
2. Edit your headline to ensure that it is descriptive of your role and industry. e.g Marketing manager, IT software
3. Add in a summary which highlights your background using key words but also try to express yourself and inject some personality. Put in any key achievements - for example you achieved 120% of sales quota for the last 3 years.
4. Ensure your resume and your LinkedIn profiles match - check that dates and employment correlate.

6. Ensure your contact information is up to date and that your email addresses are correct
7. Try to keep your profile up to date & post regularly so that you are seen as active.
